tunnel vision? or a driving force?

focus can be a beautiful thing. and i say “can be” for a reason. to be focused on something that you’re excited about, someone you love, your goals, your bigger whys is to be insanely tuned in to every finer detail of movement towards or away from whatever that picture is that its in your head.

there is a quote that i don’t quite remember, but goes something like this, “on the path to finding what you love, you will find everything that you hate, and everything that stands in your way”

i say all of this because i have my pictures and at this moment today, i stopped to consider how entirely awesome it is how focused my brain has become on attaining what those pictures portray. the wheels just keep turning. new ideas, new words, new concepts, are all getting tossed into the mix just about as fast as i can find a scrap of paper to write them down on. there is no dwelling on what hasn’t worked, but a clear understanding that change is the only way to progress.
