When it isn’t all about X

The moment you realize that it might be time to change your opinion or your approach. Gracefully admit (even if only to yourself) that there is always, and will always be, more to learn and that trying something new isn’t about being wrong, stupid, or a failure. Trying something new is about being willing to risk being the best- at being you and at what you do. If we never take the risk, then we never become anything more than who we are, and unless you’re the best already* are you really willing to settle for being anything less?

*and even if you are the best right now, you didn’t get there without risk, and you won’t stay without more

The risk to stay the same is truly far greater then the risk to change.

About mudly

Mud is main blog writer extraordinaire, picture guru, and the garden and adventure instigator. She loves to cook, but doesn’t much like following a recipe.
