a captain obvious moment

Wherever you are, is where you are. And if you’re happy there, don’t ever let anybody else ever convince you otherwise. Because up until they said something, you were happy, remember? Just because it wouldn’t make them happy, doesn’t mean it can’t work for you.

It’s when you start to question and stew that that little well spoken nudge might be wise words you should listen to. Up until that point, let the good times roll, and let everything else roll right off your back.

You define you, and you define your happy. Both of those are constant works in progress. They are perhaps our most important work in this life.

oh so true..Just because someone may say something does not mean that what you are doing is wrong. Even if thier thoughts make you question or reevaluate your current situation or what was making you happy it is not a bad thing. Those are the things that help us navigate and make little adjustments to make sure we stay on the happy track. I have thin skin and often times others comments have really done me in. I seem to learn this lesson over and over again. Thank you for writing this. What a great reminder.

Like all things, its a balance. Listening, digesting, and then moving forward (while staying on your own track) rather then ignoring and staying stagnant or even spiraling backwards.

    I needed the reminder too… 🙂
