Micro Entrepreneurism, Simple Living & Art
Stuck sucks. You feel like there’s a million reasons why you can’t do what is you want to do or need to do. You have to wait for something. There are things that need to be taken care of first. You’re in the middle of something else. You have responsibilities and obligations. You’ll disappoint someone or many someones. You don’t have the time. The money.
Thing is, there are always going to be a million reasons why you can’t do something, but somewhere out there, there are also the reasons why you should do something. Your big WHY. And that reason(s) should be big enough and strong enough that you figure out, come hell or high water, a way to do that something anyways.
Maybe you aren’t the kind of person that’s going to go out and do something drastic, like sell your car, all your stuff, pack a suitcase and head to New York City for the great unknown. But that doesn’t mean you can’t start to do those things you say you want to at all. Remember that moving in smaller steps is still moving. Right now, you might feel like you can’t do something that big, so start with something small. Just promise yourself you’ll start and then do it. Move in the direction you want to go. Focus on that big WHY. And eventually, after enough practice doing the small things that matter, and the positive reinforcement and satisfaction of progress as you crawl yourself out of your stuckedness, you might just find yourself ready to do something big.
