Pea webs! And other garden updates

Newly installed in the hoop house today. These babies just keep growing and growing and growing. Happy peas make for a happy Hawk-Mo. We are ALL looking forward to eating them.

Also big news this week, I harvested both the hoop house spinach and the garden spinach for a total of approx 1 lb!! I wasn’t expecting to be able to harvest anything before the end of April by my calculations. But would like to note that that 1 lb of spinach came from about 10 plants, which is a lot, I thought, but clearly not enough. Perhaps double next year?

Oh yea, and cover crops shouldn’t be planted where you want to plant your early spring things. Lesson learned number 3820. That number gets bigger everyday.
